What a Career Passport is

Your Career Passport is a single, canonical record of your work history, education, skills, learning and interview evidence. It replaces sending a different résumé to every employer — you build it once, and it compounds every time you add a new piece of evidence.

Self-reported skills are a starting point. Portfolio work, completed courses, DOI assessments and eventual employer feedback all move a skill further up the ladder — and every rung is visible to you.

When your profile shows a gap against real employer demand, DOI recommends a specific course from a named provider — plus a practical project reviewed by a person, not just a quiz. Completing a course is logged honestly as completion; it only becomes stronger evidence once it's demonstrated and reviewed.
